Relaxation Massage
Swedish massage technique. The therapist uses light to medium pressure massage to promote circulation, increase your relaxation and relieve your minor aches and pains.
Deep Tissue Massage
Medium to deep pressure massage. This type of massage pays special attention to the trouble spots in your body. The massage therapist uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons or other tissues deep under the skin. This helps relieve chronic tension and also helps with muscle injuries. Patients say that Isobel is exceptional at finding and working out their deep muscle issues.
Hot Stone Massage
While promoting deep muscle and tissue relaxation, hot stone massage alleviates stress, releases toxins and relieves pain, improving circulation and calming the psyche. Massage therapist Isobel places warmed stones on specific areas of the body to promote circulation and to enable the therapist to work deeper in your problem areas. The warmed stones are also used as massage tools, followed by Isobel using her skilled hands to get you into a state of enhanced comfort and relaxation. This is Dr. Lundquist’s personal favorite!
Sports Massage
This massage uses a variety of approaches to help all athletes in training – before, during or after sports events. The combination of medium to deep pressure massage can be used to promote flexibility and help prevent injuries. It can also help with muscle strains or aid in healing after a sports injury.
Pregnancy Massage
During pregnancy your body goes through major changes. Pregnancy massage can help with these changes by reducing stress, decreasing arm and leg swelling and relieving muscle and joint pain using a more gentle approach. Massage can be particularly helpful during a time when medications and other medical options are more limited. Using specially designed massage pillows, the therapist will help get you into a comfortable face down position for this relaxing massage.
